Endorse - Numerous public figures including former president of the United States Al Gore have endorsed Barack Obama in his race for the presidency.

Furnace - Hell is said to be a hundred times hotter than the hottest furnace.

Obscure - Singapore used to be an obscure little island on which not many people lived on.

Jaded - Everyday lessons leave John jaded and depressed.

Eschew - Diabetics have to eschew sweet food in their daily diets.

Magnanimously - One must learn to forgive and forget magnanimously.

Fastidious - With John's newfound eating habits, he easily assumes the title of "World's most fastidious eater"

Endorse - Members of all parties endorsed a ban on land mines.

Furnace - Tourists from cooler countries say it's like a furnace in Singapore due to the hot climate.

Obscure - John was born around 1650 but his origins remain obscure.

Jaded - I felt terribly jaded after working all weekend.

Eschew - As Ms Tan was on a diet, she had to constantly remind herself to eschew from oily foods.

Magnanimous - Tim was magnanimous in defeat and praised his opponent's skill.

Fastidious - Everything was planned in fastidious detail.

Well done the 2 of you! Except that in Jason's case, for eschew you do not eschew from oily foods, but eschew oily foods. Apart from that excellent job. 40 more to go!

Endorse - She has already endorsed the check.

Furnace - Smelting is done in specially built furnaces.

Obscure - For some obscure reason, he failed to turn up.

Jaded - The horses were jaded and the men worn out.

Eschew - After realising that she was overweight, she decided to eschew fatty foods.

Magnanimous - How do you know that he is magnaimous?

Fastidious - He was fastidious in his preparation for the big day.

Endorse-to approve, support, or sustain
john wanted to endorse a political candinate.
Furnace-a structure or apparatus in which heat may be generated, as for heating houses, smelting ores, or producing steam.
He heated a metal piece in the furnace.
Obscure-not clear or plain; ambiguous, vague, or uncertain
There was an obsure sentence in the contract.
Jaded-dulled or satiated by overindulgence
Today, i have a jaded appetite.
Eschew-to abstain or keep away from; shun; avoid
He wanted to eschew evil forever.
Magnanimous-generous in forgiving an insult or injury; free from petty resentfulness or vindictiveness
You need to be magnanimous towards your friend.
Fastidious-excessively particular, critical, or demanding; hard to please
It is very hard to please a fastidious eater.

Endorse-Though I fully endorse this book, I would caution younger children from reading it.

Furnace-I threw wood into the furnace as I felt rather cold.

Obscure-Though smoke might obscure you vision in a fire, please remain calm and try to exit the building

Jaded-The horse was jaded from being continuously riden for a day and a night.

Eschew-After losing a grat deal of money in a bad investment, Mr Ng eschewed investing money in any investment from then on.

Magnanimous-As I am feeling magnanimous today, I shall pardon your error.

Fastidious-Pigs are quite fastidious in their diets, and any change to it maybe cause them to stop eating.

Furnace: The weather in Singapore is as hot as a furnace.

Obscure: The cars license plate was partially obscured by the fog.

Jaded: Tom was jaded by the countryside and wished to see the city.

Eschew: Jack’s mother advised him to eschew from sweet drinks.

Magnanimous: John was very magnanimous in defeat.

Fastidious: No matter how I try to tidy my room, I cannot live up to my mother’s fastidious standards.

Furnace: Jack endured the furnace of his friend's blame after the mishap.

Obscure: Maldives is an obsure retreat from the busy city life.

Jaded: My mother's critisism left me jaded and depressed.

Eschew: Her former friends now eschew her.

Magnanimous: Be magnanimous to everyone, including your enemies.

Fastidious: Sharon used to be a fastidious dresser.
